R&D & Rapid Prototyping
De-risking technical assumptions and validating feasibility through functional, hardware-in-the-loop prototypes and benchmarks.
Entering a new technical domain or introducing a novel hardware feature carries significant execution risk. Building a complete product based on unverified assumptions leads to expensive redesigns, missed deadlines, and wasted budgets. We de-risk complex projects by building highly targeted, functional prototypes that test the feasibility of core ideas.
De-risking Through Execution
We don’t write generic feasibility reports. We build functional hardware-in-the-loop setups, run benchmarks, and gather empirical data to validate assumptions:
- Hardware Validation: We build breadboard circuits, design rapid-turnaround PCBs, and interface with novel sensors or actuators. We verify signal integrity, sensor calibration limits, and power management boundaries before laying out production hardware.
- Performance Benchmarking: If you are unsure if a machine learning model can execute within a specific latency on an edge processor, or if a database can sustain a specific ingestion rate, we build isolated environments to benchmark and measure the metrics.
- Mechanical Integration: We combine 3D-printed enclosures and CAD mockups with custom electronics, providing a physical, functional demonstration of the product’s form factor and user experience.
Prototyping Timeline
We operate in tight, iterative cycles designed to yield maximum feedback:
Our Prototyping Toolkit
- Electronics: Rapid breadboarding, KiCad schematic capture, multi-meter and oscilloscope diagnostics.
- Mechanical: FDM/SLA 3D printing, CAD design (Fusion 360, FreeCAD).
- Software & ML: Python prototyping scripts, edge-inference setups, WebGL dashboard mockups.
- Connectivity: Cellular, BLE, Wi-Fi, custom RF link setups.
We provide clean, functional proof-of-concept units and honest, empirical reports. If you have an ambitious idea that needs technical validation, partner with us.
